You can now watch us perform a live version of 'Terrible Things That Could Happen' at our home studio.
For those interested, the video was recorded using a handheld LG 360 Cam which was attached to a microphone stand. The sound was recorded using seven basic microphones (3 on the kit, 2 for vocals, 2 for guitars, with the bass as a direct input).
The great benefit of shooting in 360 was that we were able to use the microphones' polar pattern to reduce bleed from others in the room. With the live drums in the room, this meant that all instruments had to match that volume to make sure the microphones were mainly picking up their relevant sounds.
